Job Description
Registered Nursing candidates with a passion for people and care are invited to apply for these positions. These positions will report to the High Care and ICU Unit Manager.
Our hospital specializes n the following disciplines. Therefore nursing candidates with competence in the following discipline may apply for positions:
- Ear, Nose and Throat
- Maxillofacial
- Head and Neck
- Neuro
- Vascular surgery
- Spinal
The responsibility of a registered nurse is to provide quality-nursing care by utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation, in collaboration with other professional disciplines. Ensures a therapeutic and safe patient environment by maintaining health and safety standards and complying with infection prevention and control standards.
Qualification
The following requirements are a prerequisite to be considered for the position:
- Degree or diploma in general nursing science.
- Post-basic qualification in Intensive care will be to your advantage.
- Current registration with SANC (South African Nursing Council).
Experience
Working experience of more than three years in a private healthcare facility may apply for these positions.
